I think I may have enjoyed this more reading it instead of listening to the audio book but the guy narrating it was really good and entertaining so it wasn't too bad.

It was fun to go back and re-read this novel, especially after seeing the movie. It's such a short book and I can't believe how many extra action scenes the films have added that were not in the novel. They seriously turned the one book into a trilogy of films. Still, it's a wonderful story and I'm looking forward to reading The Lord of the Rings trilogy as well :-)

Just reread this for the first time in 10 years. Not ashamed to say the ending made me cry. Such a wonderful wonderful story.
