This is a very good retelling/re-imagining of Beauty and the Beast. If you are a fan of such stories just stop reading this and start reading the book. It's superb.

This was a quick and fun read but I will confess that I skim read a little cause I got kinda bored but overall I enjoyed it.
I just adored this book. I could not put it down. It was an excellent retelling of Beauty and the Beast. While it might have been a bit predictable, it wasn't too stale or overdone. Lovely story that everyone who is a fan of fairytales should pick up.

Got to p 136 because it is written to engage and I wanted to like it. Put it down, feel unmotivated to pick it up. Despite the fact that it's actually finally getting interesting and original. Very YA. August 2022.
