I personally loved this book.
The Summoning isn't the most exciting book because lots of the time it is setting the scene for the next two books, which are even better.
After about ten pages you are already in the book completely, there is no messing around. After freaking out at school about seeing a 'burned custodian', Chloe is sent to Lyle House, a house for unstable kids. There she meets the other housemates, loudmouthed and arrogant Tori, funny and smart Rae, moody, ominous Derek and Simon, ...more
