learned I'm way too old and independent in my thoughts and actions to
be influenced or intimidated by religion and religious leaders. Gilead
may be a fictitious place, but in my view, it already exists or existed
in convents, in fundamentalist Muslim communities, in Amish and Mennonite settlements, in branches of the Mormon Church or Church of Latter Day Saints. W
