According to some polls, this is Christie's best book. I agree. This has to be read by any reader of detective fiction, thrillers etc. even if you are otherwise not fond of Christie. On a reread I have tried to analyse how fair Christi had been with the reader.

I enjoyed most of this, but the end felt unsatisfactory. What a pity about the racial slur (used over and over and over...) and the blatant anti-Semitism.
