What Members Thought
Thomas is sent to a Glade inhabited by teenage boys. He and the others have no memory of where they came from or why they are there. They only know they have to escape. Surrounding them is a maze, stalked by monstrous, living robots. Everything is changing. They have to get out soon before the end.

I'm glad that I was finally able to find out why everyone is so excited about this book, but ultimately, it just wasn't for me. Part of the problem was that a lot of the drama revolved around the Grievers, which were some strange monster/robots that I was never really able to picture. I was definitely interested in some of the characters, but none were fully developed and several were indistinguishable. The the pacing was pretty slow in the beginning, but I was hooked as we raced toward the e ...more

I found this incredibly boring and all the vagueness and non-answers annoyed me as much as they annoyed Thomas. I'll just check out the movie. DNF'd at 31%.
