I think this could have been a great book. I enjoyed the main characters, and some of the smaller plots twists and problems they ran into. But the overall theme of the book was just too much for me. I really only finished this book because of a book club, but I also hoped there would be some redeeming grace in it, maybe stating how Jacqueline was able to deal with and get over everything. While I think the list of reference for someone who may need help with rape issues was a good thought, I'm n ...more
