What Members Thought
This book was exactly the kind of book I was in the mood for. It's light, fluffy, and fun. It totally reminded me of The Hunger Games only in the choosing process and the differences between all the castes. It was kind of funny. I've had people say this book would remind me of The Hunger Games, and I wondered how Kiera Cass was going to combine The Bachelor and "Killing" the competition.

This type of book is not my typical cup of tea. I'm not a huge romance fan, but for a few reasons, I found this book keeping my interest. The Selection is the Bachelor mixed with some smatterings of the typical dystopian YA novel. I kind of got sucked into the relationship between America and Aspen.
