When I first began this book, I didn't really like it. It was ok, but not what I expected with the hype. I kept reading though and the farther I got into the book, the more I connected to Eliza. The more I understood her. The more I saw me in her. The me I was in high school, the me that was a "mom" in the Twilight fandom (I was in my late, late 20's when that hit so I was in the older ladies club lol), and the me I am now years later.

Eliza and Her Monsters

+++++++++++++++++++++I read this one for a group read. Since I'm not terribly into comics, I was hesitant about the story but I needn't have worried.
It was really good!
I immediately liked and identified with Eliza who struggles with anxiety, but she keeps it together enough for school and doing that fan fave comic of hers.
When Wallace entered the story, I was captivated by him, wondering yet accepting of his silence.
