This series is like a cross between Twilight and Game of Thrones. I'm both embarrassed to admit I'm reading it and completely absorbed in it.

I'm giving Book 2 a higher rating than Book 1 because the love triangle that annoyed me in Book 1 turned out to be more complicated than I expected. Also, there is serious girl power emerging now. ...more
