A satisfying conclusion to the series. I couldn’t quite give it five stars because I felt certain things were mentioned in the book and then forgotten by the author. Also, the prequel story at the end didn’t make sense to me having read the series - but I can’t say much more without spoilers. I enjoyed this book and the series, but Im hoping for more from the Six of Crows duology.

Only the last like 50 pages of this book felt important. Everything else was build up and kind of just a copy paste of the second book honestly. I want a book finale to be epic and this once fell a little short. It didn’t even make me cry. For shame.
