I originally read this many years ago as a child.
This is one of my favorites in the entire series. It is the creation and beginning of Narnia. It ties so much of the story together and really lets you know who and what the queen is. And just how powerful Aslan is.

I have a special place in my heart for The Chronicles of Narnia, and especially for the first book in the series, The Magician's Nephew. When I was in elementary school, my parents bought me the boxed set of Narnia books. It was one of the newer publications, so the books were arranged chronologically.
