I wanted to liked this and in some ways I did. I loved the setting and think Stoker is excellent at vivid describtions. But it was easy to get lost in. To forget who is telling the story in that moment. I often found myslef flipping back to realize what journal I was in. The first half has a lot of jumping quickly ahead with little explaination and then the second half I felt dragged way too much. Everything got old quick and I just wanted it to end. Ok. This was just plain fun! Umm...I don't think it was a straight audio book, it was like a play? Got it out of the library, and it was just what I was looking for in a fun halloweeny type of read/listen! There were several in the cast, background noises...like I said, just plain fun! ...more
