What Members Thought
Valente has a way with language. Actually, a confession -- when I first started reading the book, I thought she was concentrating too much on making it poetic and classically fairytale-esque and it overrode my enjoyment of it until the plot started picking up. But then when the plot *did* start picking up, I realized why keeps being brought to my attention. Especially the ending. Without spoiling, let's just say I really liked the ending.
