Neil Gaiman is quickly becoming one of my favorite fantasy/horror writers. ( Side note: I listened to this novel and hope that the character names are spelled correctly.) In Neverwhere, Richard Mayhew leads a very normal life, until he decides to help a stranger he sees hurt and lying in a doorway.
