This sweet love story about first loves is my favorite book so far this year .
This story leaves you a lot to think about, immigration, love, relationships within a family, how important simply saying thank you can make a difference, fate and destiny.
I loved how the story showed that everyone was connected to each other.
Looking forward to more of Nicola Yoon!
Some of my favorite quotes:
“Maybe part of falling in love with someone else is also falling in love with yourself.”

This is my second book from this author and I honestly don't know if I would have liked this one better if I had read this first. I loved Everything, Everything. I loved the quirkiness of it, the smart heroine and the cute love story. I knew going in that this one was more realistic and serious. Daniel (whom I loved!) and Natasha were good characters and their background and the experiences coming from immigrant families was realistic and relevant. For me, the spark and the magic from the other

This was a sweet romance with an unusual ending, but I liked it! I was surprised that it took place in a single day, but that was pretty cool with all the sci-fi discussions that they threw into this story. No , this story is not really classified as sci-fi, but I loved all the discussion they had about multiverses and "coincidences" and the chance of this thing happening or that thing happening. Although some of it may have been improbable, I really liked the way things worked out, and I especi

Such a satisfying read! Bought this book last year to add to my classroom library. Finally have time to
Read it! I’ll definitely recommend this to students or anyone who enjoys well-written, engrossing YA. Loved the characters, loved how it was written and I especially loved the feel-good ending! Great book to read!

Second book for my "Around the Year in 52 books" challenge, featuring multiple perspectives. What impressed me most with this one was how the author played with the conventions of the romance genre, adding short vignettes from the perspectives of various adults living out their lives around the main characters. Great additions of magical realism and appropriate notes of darkness, I can see why everyone compares this to John Green's work but I appreciated the greater diversity of perspectives in

I just love how this book manages to deal with some pretty heavy issues like racism and immigration while still feeling like a rom com in book format. It makes you think, but it's still very entertaining and cute.
