This was a sweet romance with an unusual ending, but I liked it! I was surprised that it took place in a single day, but that was pretty cool with all the sci-fi discussions that they threw into this story. So, I have mixed feelings on this book. In some ways I loved it. I loved all the little historical facts sprinkled throughout and the fact that we got to see into the future of how things turn out for characters and I love the idea that all our smallest actions affect others in ways we may not see. But it also ripped my heart out. I cried at this book which is not something I love to do. And it made me question whether I believe in fate and meant to be which is just not an easy question.

Second book for my "Around the Year in 52 books" challenge, featuring multiple perspectives. What impressed me most with this one was how the author played with the conventions of the romance genre, adding short vignettes from the perspectives of various adults living out their lives around the main characters.
