What Members Thought

“It's a strange new world out there and the rules have changed: It's every princess for herself.”
Reviewing after re-reading.
The story isn’t as complex as I remembered it to be, but this time around I enjoyed it more than the first book (although I loved that one too). Fast-paced, this was a breeze to fly through. Unlike the first book, the author has laid off the foreboding hints of that’s to come and stays in the present tense more.

I enjoyed this much more by reading it rather than listening since I could create the voices I imagined rather than the ones the narrator provided. I've now finished the first 2 of these books in a relatively short time period. I can say that Mac is growing on me like many said she would--the fact that she isn't describing every outfit she puts on anymore is helping. But can someone please tell me that eventually I will find out that Barrons isn't a complete ass?

Much better than the first! I can't stop reading and can't wait to find out WHAT Barrons is.
