This time it is Little Red Riding Hood and it is pretty good! The book kept my interest throughout and continued the story of Cinder while introducing many new characters.
I think I liked this better than the first book mainly because now I have already been in this "world" for several hundred pages.

I give Scarlet a 5/5 stars because this series just continues to get better and better. I really appreciate books that continue to give the reader surprises throughout the duration of the series and I feel like Marissa Meyer sets that up very well. This sequel is actually better than the first! Really enjoyed it, fast paced and the characters were more alive (if that makes sense!) because in Cinder, the characters seemed so boring but with this sequel, it made all the characters seem more real, really good book!
The Lunar Chronicles #2... In my armchair travels, I've read about witches, vampires, boggarts, zombies, shapeshifters etc. etc. but the one thing I haven't read too much about are wolves & wolve packs. I don't mean your standard everyday wolves. I mean the human genetically modified wolves that we get a taste of in Scarlet. It was a new experience and I thoroughly enjoyed this loose retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. It was just as good as the first book Cinder- a Cinderella retelling. I read
