From TNBBC, I've heard nothing but good things about Moore's books. A Dirty Job was my first Moore book, and I enjoyed it very much. Moore does a great job with developing his characters, and the dialogue among them is current and hilarious. One of my favorite books of all time - wickedly funny and warped but also sensitive and sweet. The audiobook version is completely priceless; the Meeting of the Asian Powers as rendered by Fisher Stevens is a classic.

This book is another funny book by Christopher Lamb. Not quite as laugh-out-loud funny as Lamb, but definitely a good read.
