This is a five-star book for nearly everyone I follow on here plus my literary hero Anaïs Nin, too, if she were here. This is my third time trying to read Nightwood and finally I made it beyond the first few pages (!), which are the most tedious to read, kind of like the start of a biography, going on and on about family history that no one cares about. Well, maybe I was reading it the wrong way but it felt really long despite its length. Ugh, it almost bored me to death. I did't mind the absurdness, though.
