I read this book for a book club with my nephew. He is going to help me write this review.
I believed Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was awesome! I couldn’t believe when Charlie got that second candy bar and found the golden ticket! I also couldn’t believe that such an old person, Grandpa Joe, went with Charlie. He usually stays in bed with the grandmas and grandpa. I liked the last chapter when Mr. Willy Wonka said Charlie could have the chocolate factory. I loved this book! Bye!

I loved this book as a kid! Probably still do.
This book was very cute, with some great lessons for kids, like why it is bad to want something all the time, or why one shouldn't be obsessed with the TV. To me, this was a very enjoyable quick read! I look forward to reading it to my kids.

I want to read some other Dahl books some day. This was really funny and at that time the first really eccentric book I had read.
