What Members Thought
One of my all time favorite books; Wilde does an amazing job showing the creepy side of vanity. And his prose is faultless; it’s almost annoying that the man can write that well.
There were some not very interesting parts but they don't weigh much in the shadow of that incredibly beautiful writing. Mr. Gray himself is an interesting character. He wants to survive at all costs and in return his soul is marred. Dorian has the urge to be beautiful in order to keep his place in society which reflects also today's world. Really how far we are ready to go?

Creepy, absorbing and has staying power. PLUS, my brother liked it - a lot. He doesn't even like reading that much.
