If you ever go through a tough spell, or a couple of tragic, heavy books, and just want to sit down by a fire and enjoy a book that is pleasant, have this by the ready. If you love Scotland and books, then you'll be even happier. I do, so it got 4 stars. This book is not deep, but you are connected to the story and characters within the first chapter.
