I got pulled into this last installment of the Bartemeus series that follows the adventures of the snarky djinn, Jonathan the magician and Kitty the dissident. It gets darker and more violent and all does not end as well as could be hoped, but it was a great ride. Simon Jones provided the perfect voice.
A great end to the Bartimaeus trilogy as it fills in our main charactes past. Bartimaeus's wit and charm are never lost even though he is slowly fading from the world.
