Samantha Kingston is popular, girls either fear her or want to be her and boys want to have her. She seems to have the perfect high school life until she dies in a car accident after coming home from a party with her friends. However, that's not where the story ends...

If you ARE or EVER WERE an outcast or a nerd you will NOT like this book. I've been an outcast my whole life and I hated the main character, but perhaps we were supposed to. It got really interested after 100 pages so I decided to finish it, though I didn't end up liking the ending

A heartfelt young adult novel that stays true to the life of a soon-to-graduate senior dealing with alcoholism, sex, bullying, and peer pressure as she keeps reliving the last day of her life over and over seven times. Many reviews have said this before, but this book is Groundhogs Day meets Mean Girls. I couldn't put this one down, and I'm not anywhere close to my teen years. A great read for a teen book club, or read it with your daughter to spark conversation about normally uncomfortable topics.

Even after completing this book, I'm left unsettled. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Probably a great read for teens facing characters like the ones in this book in their daily lives and hopefully, learning something from it.

I really enjoyed this book! It was wonderful to see her transformation even though it ends the way it does. It helps you know right away how it ends but to see her do the right thing and become a better person in the process and hopefully positively effect the people around her. Even though it was YA and set in high school I think it is a really wonderful story and a reason I hate pigeon holes for books! Anyone could read this book and get something out of it and really enjoy it!
An excellent read. A powerful statement about bullying and the difficulties of living under the oppression of a pecking teenage order, but also about the meaning of life, and about appreciating every single minute of it that we're given.

Holy. Crap.
I have no idea what I was expecting when I started reading this book, but I was sort of blown away by the progression of both the story and Sam's character. ...more
