I had put off reading this one for a bit because I was worried that with Harry being dead/a ghost, I wouldn't get to see as much interaction between him and my favorite characters. This proved to be both true and false. We still get to see all of the characters we've grown to love (with the exception of Thomas, who only shows up in one brief scene). However, most of them can't see Harry so his interaction with them is fairly limited. I did often find myself missing that interaction.

Oh Jim Butcher, you simultaneously made me laugh, cry, and gasp in surprise.

Ghost Story is not what you would expect from a Dresden Files book. But don't let that fool you into thinking that if Harry isn't constantly blowing something up or trading quips with the villains every other page that the book is misplaced or not "good."

It is actually a very good book. I've always felt that the last several books have been building up towards something pretty darned big. If Changes was the last click

Our beloved hero is dead and he needs to figure out who his murderer is should be easy right. Nope it isn't because Harry has made many enemies in both the spirit and mortal worlds. Where do you begin to search for your own killer? Harry's first stop is to Mort Lindquist and see if he's willing to help Harry solve his murder but it turns out it's Mort that needs his help instead.
