This is the best book yet, in this series. Loved it. Didn’t figure it out before hand. Can’t wait to finish this series before the next one in July

Dresden Files books usually just keep me on my toes but this bypassed even that it made me angry. Angry you say yes angry! I always root for Harry but this I found myself rooting for Harry' s archenemy Morgan. It really surprised me and made me question what I really knew about Morgan and his dealings with my beloved hero. Morgan like some of the characters that I enjoy didn't seem very likable but as surprises go it was a good one. Morgan comes to the one person who has every reason to despise ...more

When it comes to the magical ruling body known as the White Council, Harry keeps his nose clean and his head down. For years, the Council has held a death mark over Harry's head. He's still thought of as a black sheep by some and as a sacrificial lamb by others. Wow Harry really steps in it this time lol! I always like when an author can redeem a character and Mr. Butcher managed to make me like Morgan by the end of this one. And all sorts of awesome Toot-Toot moments as well. Marsters does such an amazing job with Toot-Toot's parts. Harry is in full knight in white armor mode in this book. It always amazes me that he survives! All in all a great addition to the Dresden Files and I can't wait to read #12! ...more
