Another in the "Bugs vs. Humanity" theme (along with "Armor" and "Ender's Game"), but this was the first of them... even though maybe not the best. Ender's Game, in my view, gets that prize.

There was a halfway decent movie made of this that kind of rejoiced in its own hamminess.. enjoyable but corny.

This was one of the first Heinlein books I read as a teen, also one of the first Sci-Fi books I remember purchasing with my own money. I reread it about once every four or five years.
