I LOVED it. Any book that makes me laugh out loud is a win in my opinion. Watney's wit is what keeps him going--even when his situation is bleak--and it draws you in to his story. You root for him and at every new disaster can't wait to see how he figures out how to survive. I would have loved more of everything--especially the characters on Earth. I can't help but want an epilogue too but in the end, I still loved every minute of it.

The writing was static and left a sense of urgency. Mark seems much the same at the end as he was at the beginning: a snarky jokester

Apollo 13 on Mars with supposedly accurate science. Pretty awesome book.
