What Members Thought
Two or three times a year I finish up a book in a mad dash and exclaim to anyone nearby, friend or stranger: "Holy shit, that was amazing!" The Martian is one of those books. I barely came up for air (Mark Watney would appreciate this). The Martian by Andy Weir is 369 pages of science fiction thriller about a man stranded on Mars and his efforts to survive long enough to be rescued. Hilarious, touching, white-knuckle reading, a must-read! (Would make an outstanding movie too.)

I really enjoyed this blog style read. Edge of the seat at times and well plotted. I owned it long before hearing of the movie, wish I had read it sooner
