This book picks up right where Cinder left off seamlessly and introduces you to more well rounded characters. It's hard not to love all of them (except Levana who she easy to love to hate) and each book dives deeper and deeper into each character's story and experiences. The story is so beautifully written that you don't even realize when 100 pages has gone by because she leaves you wanting to know more.

I really enjoyed this take on Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf. They are fantastic characters with a great storyline and can hardly wait to see what happens with everyone in the next book. I've read both Cinder and Scarlet twice but have been too intimidated to read Cress, I'm hoping to get that one started by the end of April. ...more

Re read June 3-6 2018. I love this series!!! It still is as good the 2nd time as the first. Can’t wait to finish the other books!!

Great sequel!! I really enjoyed this book and I loved how Cinder was still a main character and it was not only focused on Scarlet. As a character I prefer Cinder because she is way more mature and realistic. Scarlet was too childish and perfect.
