What Members Thought

Admittedly, I only got through the first few chapters before I stopped reading it. I was disturbed by this book - it makes a mockery of all things religious, quasi- and otherwise. Really, the only reason I started reading it was because it was dedicated to .G. K. Chesterton. (Unfortunately, that dedication was made by the main demon character from the book.)

I have read nothing but great things about this book. I expected a lot and when I began to read it, I was a bit disappointed. It was good but I just expected more... until about halfway through the book. For me, halfway through the novel this story just takes off. Suddenly, I was having several LOL moments and couldn't put it down. Great book.

What a fun read! It's Gaiman and Pratchett, what more is there to say. Very funny. It seems to be screaming for a movie adaptation but I'm not sure who could do it justice. Highly recommended.
