I love this book so much! I enjoyed it just as much the second time around, and I'm sure I'll read it again at some point. Good stuffs.

Half-way through, I was so sure that I was going to give it a five star rating.
Then it was a four star rating 5/6 of the way through.
Now, with that ending, I've settled for 3 stars.
I have hardly ever disliked a classic. Thus, I seriously don't understand why I can't bring myself to like this book as much as the rest of society. As with any book the enjoyment is severely diminished when you already know what is happening or is going to happen. Fortunately I only knew the story up to the point of the first marriage and the emergence of the first wife, therefore I was able to fully enjoy the final third of the book.
I have tried not to reflect this in my rating, purely for enjoyment from readi ...more

I really love this book. It is full of emotions and the twists in the plot are amazing. I know that it is quite uncommon for authors in Bronte's time to write books where the heroine falls in love with a married man and then they both have a happy ending, but it is what makes this book really interesting.
