Summary:
A kid on the spectrum deals with life-stuff and grows up a lot along the way.
Liked
First person narrative (done well I love this style, Flowers for Algernon is another good example)
Perspective into how someone different might view the world (what if you hated being hugged, how might you relate to your family).
A different view of the world.
Abrupt ending was quite beautiful and fitting (a book ending can make a very lasting impression for me: e.g. The Book Thief 'I am haunted by humans'

This book I feel is not quite amazing, its a very simple story line and is quite enjoyable as a small short read. I find it hard to get in the storyline, as well like Gatsby I have read it so many times for college that it is not as entertaining as it would be if I had read it for enjoyment, then again I feel I would not pick it up if it was in a library or a shop.
