Shelves: fiction, translation
The title gives a hint of the tone of this book:- Weird, pretentious, sometimes just silly but also containing deep philosophical thoughts and interesting commentary on human nature. I wanted to give up a few times, but it is so skilfully crafted that I was gradually won over, and ended up staying with it until the end. There is so much to ponder, dissect and discuss in this novel.
