What Members Thought
A fun, light read with many twists and turns, and the bonus of being set in Barcelona, though I wish a map had been included (also, one could be forgiven for thinking Barcelona’s weather sucks after reading this novel; however, that has not been my experience). The book had me hooked; a real page turner. I might have given it 5 stars but for the ending, where it really fell apart (in fact, I found the last 20 pages or so so disappointing that I nearly docked two stars, but I relented; after all

El libro es efectivo en crear una atmósfera de suspenso en varios momentos y en dibujar una Barcelona para quienes aún no la conocemos. Sin embargo, me pareció que los personajes son poco complejos y que la línea narrativa es predecible. I am not even remotely qualified to attempt to review this book, but I feel that I need to say something about it.
It has been rare, in my experiences with books throughout my life, to come across a work as beautifully written as this book. The pace was neither too swift, nor too slow, the language (even as a translation) was mesmerizing, the characters were well developed, and the plot was engrossin.
