The story of 10 strangers, each of them lured under false pretenses to a secluded island, by the mysterious Mr. Owen. When the guests arrive, their host is gone, but has left a recorded message accusing all of them of murder.

One by one, they are all killed, as written in the nursery rhyme Ten Little Indians. The tension builds when the guests begin to realize that none of them will leave the island alive, and a constant fear of "who will be the next victim?"

Still not a big Agatha Christie fan. She rather bores me. She writes puzzles, not novels, and I never care who did it because I never care about any of her characters.

The things I am willing to subject myself to for the sake of group reads!

Turns out I was suspicious about the correct incidents, but drew the wrong conclusions from them (view spoiler)

I absolutely loved this book. It starts out by describing ten individuals. At first, I was thinking.. how in the world am I going to remember all of these people? But at this point in the book nothing has happened yet. Quickly you come to know all of these ten people who are put in one mansion in the middle of an island all too well. It leaves you in suspense at the end of every chapter and its one of those books where I felt like I had to find out what happens next. The book is very well though ...more

If you liked the movie Clue, then you probably will like this book. 10 people trapped on an island by a mysterious person who knows about their darkest secrets. One by one they are murdered according to a nursery rhyme.
