I read this book ages ago; I believe it was my very first Agatha Christie book. I recall searching through the shelves of the local library in the mystery section trying to find something I hadn’t already read. And then there was mystery, As you might probably know it is a classic novel by Agatha Christie. And it is a wonderful book by all accounts. 10 people go on an island for a party and they are killed one by one. who is the killer? what is the motive? Wow! Now I know where all those movies and tv shows got their idea from. This was the movie Clue on steroids. I've never read an Agatha Christie novel before, and now that I have, I understand why she is such a well loved author. It was a true whodoneit. You could argue for any of them right up to the end. Great read.

Note: If you're a stickler for political correctness, don't read this. Take note of what the original title was and pass.

2022: i think this is the third time I’ve read this book, and thankfully I had forgotten everything but the original titles, ha. It sets the standard for locked room mysteries!

2015: Me wants more horror and suspense.
