Doubt not that I loved this book.
Okay, that was corny. Supremely corny. But also true. I rarely give out five star reviews for books, even for books that I thoroughly enjoyed, because I always feel like there is room for improvement, but this one, like Mary Poppins, was practically perfect in every way. We had the brooding, moody hero with the secret heart of gold, the spunky heroine who DEMANDS her first kiss be perfect in every way, and I adored every single one of their interactions. This book was really good! I was reading some different types of romance novels lately, just to try something new, but oh, man, was it nice to get back into my old genre again. This book was fabulous. I can't make up my mind, but I honestly think it might be the best one I have read by her yet. I loved the characters. I rolled my eyes a little at the beginning because it seemed soooo super soap opera-ish, but I enjoyed it by the end.
Cute and clever. Good book, but not my favorite from Tessa.
