Actually just read it 😂 saw Bridgerton, binged the books, on on his way to the Wedding! Not my favorite book in the series, but i do love antony’s flawed character!Loved kate so much!
1.Ladies what did you think of the book?
2.Which was your favorite scene? Least favorite?
3.Did your opinion of any of the characters change after reading this book?
4.Who was your favorite character?

1.I really loved this book as poor Anthony who has decided love hurts too much basically gets hit over the head with the mallet of death and falls for Kate.2. Favourite scene was walking the dog and everyone lands up getting wet except for Kate and Nigel hahahahaha
although the Pal-Mal game was a favourite too... Ok its a tie!
Least Favourite scene: I am sure I have one but i can't think of one right now.
3. not really - I like book Anthony from book 1 already - it did help me like TV Anthony more
4. the corgi! hahahaha Also Colin because through out the books he is a favourite
Leigh I so agree about Colin! I hope they utilize him more in the TV show next season :)
I kind of think book Anthony and tv show Anthony are pretty similar. The thing it, in the show he acts a bit like an asshole to his family, here you only see it in regards to Kate. I totally forgot the scene in his study with the key. I wanted to knee him when he did and said that...
At the same time, at the house party when he champions Penelope and takes her into supper after Cressida was a bully was really knight in shining armor material. And afterwards with Kate and the storm... He really has his moments :D
I absolutely love the secondary characters the most in this series. The romances are good, but those characters really make the books for me. What does everyone think?

Yes, this!
Have you ladies read the 2nd epilogue? It cracked me up the elaborate way they were trying to win.

Loved this book! Of course, I had to read it after the Bridgerton show on Netflix. I liked all the characters and see the show's actors in my mind as these characters (except the Sheffelds, of course). Do you think that Colin thought Kate would be a better match for Anthony than Edwina and that's why he said that she should meet his brother at the first ball of the story? Or was he merely doing that so that he can make his brother uncomfortable with Kate's disregard of Anthony?

I think Colin was just "messing" with Anthony.
I agree with Susan, I think Colin just enjoyed tormenting his brother :D
Arjay I can't imagine the characters being different from the actors either.

Hi I'm new here but thought I drop in, I'm new to this genre, yes I know shocking 😱 Julia Quinn is my first author too, I've read Bridgerton absolutely fell in love with the Duke (of course) so I've just started this one today and so far in loving this too.

The reading will start on the 1st of February. I thin we should try to discuss it after then 1st week of February.
