If you loved The Iron King, you are going to LOVE The Iron Daughter!! Mrs. Kagawa once again takes us into the world she created, leaves us on the edge of our seats and wanting more. This is becoming one of my favorite YA series, and I'm looking foward to starting the next book, The Iron Queen, asap! 5 stars!
Meghan was still her strong and determined self in this book, although she seemed a bit more emotional this time around. (Who wouldn't, after all she's been through.) I was glad to see Puck ...more

I find that I like very few sequels as much as the first books, but I am proven wrong with The Iron Daughter. WOW! Julie Kagawa sucks you in and doesn't let you go until the end. I'm finding it hard to say much, as I don't want to give anything away. The Iron Daughter has it all. When the Megan is returned to her the Winter Court by Ash, things don't go as she thought they would. Ash hardly regards her, his brothers want to know what's going on between them and shortly after The Summer Court han

Where do I even begin with this book? I thought the first one was amazing and book 2 was just beyond amazing! This series just keeps getting better and better. I am so in love with Ash and Meg! Their love gives me goosebumps! Everything in this book just seem so real and exciting! I think Julie Kagawa out did herself. I loved the first one, but definitely enjoyed this book better!

Meghan Chase took on the Iron King and lived to tell about it. Now she just wants to go home and move on with her life...but I don't think that's what's going to happen unfortunately. Even worse, she's been having a terrible time accessing her powers lately. With Winter and Summer about to erupt into war where will Meghan end up?
My thoughts: I LOVED THIS ONE! Book 2 was SO much better than 1 for me, which doesn't happen all that often does it!? Usually it's book 1 that is better then book 2, but ...more

So, I'm really giving this book 4.5 stars. It was THIS close to getting 5, but the Puck fan in me couldn't quite do it. I liked this book better than the first. It kept me up all night, because I couldn't put it down! I love this world & all of its interesting characters.
I have a couple of issues regarding what I thought were pretty big story lines & their outcomes *see Ironhorse's "it was an honor...my queen" & the fact that a major Iron fae war has yet to be waged, BUT I suppose that has to b ...more

I'm very glad I had the chance to read this book because it was amazing! Julie Kagawa has written a wonderful sequel to The Iron King, one of my top favorite books of this year so far. I love Julie's writing style, all the emotions and the way she describes them in her books makes it easier for me to picture everything in my mind and almost feel what the characters were going through.

Iron Daughter the second installment in the Julie Kagawa series did not disappoint. The main characters are back Megan, Ash, Puck (Robin Good fellow ),Iron horse, and Grimalkin. The story starts off with Prince Ash picking Megan up from her house in order to pay the debit she promised in the first book. Megan is half fairy -half human daughter of King Oberon of the Summer Court. Once again the Prince Ash and Megan are caught up in a high stakes drama that rips their barley there relationship apa

“Love & Betrayal. A Faery World Gone Mad.” Once again, I love these covers. The font, the swirls. Awesome.
I really admire how Megan follows through with her word. She has a pretty good moral compass and she will do something if she thinks that it is right...even if she doesn’t necessarily want to do it. She’s also coming into her powers, which is always fun to read.

I love when the sequel is better than the first book! The Iron Daughter was wonderful. Things worked out as I thought they would, but it was not clear this would happen until the end. I am anxiously anticipating the next novel, The Iron Queen, and am jeaous of all the people I see reading the ARC for it.
