While I was very dubious at first, it didn't take long to get into the characters and the book. I love the dual story lines in past and present. Torn between three and four stars, I'm going with four because I rather enjoyed this book and I loved the narrator. ...more

I was looking for book possibilities for my Nook and came upon this author and a great deal on this book so I uploaded. Then it sat on the Nook library for a languishing while. I finally got in the right mood for a new-to-me author and opened this up. So very glad I did.
Taking place in England, Scotland and Russia both in present day and the past. A wee bit of mystical in the mix as two of the main characters, Nicola and Rob, have psychic abilities. This allows them to search for the provenance ...more
