What Members Thought
I read this for my book club. A duel story covering Mirielle in France in the 1790s and Catherine in 1973. Both women become connected to the Montglane chess service which contains a mystic formula that will give people great power. I think I would have enjoyed the book more if I knew more about all the historical people in it. I also found the book a bit slow and it didn't seem like much happened until the end of the book.
