This book is incredible! I highly recommend it whatever your age.
Katniss is an incredible character and an exceptionally strong female. A wonderful role model for any young girl. The setup this dystopia of a future America where children are put in arena to fight to the death. This book surprised me by making such a realistic world populated with memorable characters. It even moved me to tears at points.

The Hunger Games was another great young adult book that definitely lived up to the hype for me. It was a gripping, suspenseful science fiction story of a dystopian society in which kids between the ages of twelve and eighteen are forced by the government each year to compete in a gladiator type of fight to the death as a way to keep the citizens in line and prevent them from rebelling. This book was good and definitely kept me riveted, but I can't help but think about how much better it could have been. It almost read as scripted as The Games themselves.

I have been waiting to read this book ever since I saw the movie a few months ago. This book didn't really disappoint me at all. It was different then most books I have read but still very interesting and kept me wanting to read the next book in the series. Katniss is unsure of many things but she knows she must survive as long as she can (if not win) the Hunger Games to try to make it home to District 12 for her family who is waiting.. What she doesn't expect is to have feelings for the other t

I figure, maybe there's something to this trilogy.... Might as well read it so when the twelve year old customers come in, I know what they're talking about...
