This is so tricky to review! I really could give it anywhere between 2 and 4 stars.

First of all, I very much enjoyed the narration by Megan Hilty, of Smash.

Okay. This is not a romance, except in the sense of lifelong best friends loving each other. It's genre fiction/chic lit and it's pretty emotional and heartbreaking. I think I enjoyed it, but I also felt a bit manipulated. It reminded me of The Fault In Our Stars and Love Story. I'm honestly not sure if I'm a fan of that sub-genre or not.... ...more
