Doggone, I really, really, really liked this! Julie’s deep dive into Japanese lore, culture and mythology was nothing short of riveting! This was a most excellent and very well written fantasy novel with some great twists and turns. I really liked the characters and the plot was sooooooo good! I can’t wait for the sequel! I totally recommend this book!

I've been a fan of Julie Kagawa for awhile, so reading this was a no-brainer. I'm not at all well-versed in Japanese mythology and folklore, but this was a great introduction. Fun and fast-paced and has me itching to pick up book 2!
