Shelves: suspense-thriller, 20th-century, ya, mystery, library, mystery-thriller, mystery-crime, historical-fiction
I picked this up from the library because one of the later installments is part of the Goodreads 2021 Choice competition. And what a happy surprise! This is one of those YA books that can be enjoyed by anyone. The mysteries were complex and multi-layered, I loved our heroine Stevie, and the world and characters created by Johnson are superb.

My only warning - this includes a cliffhanger.
