I wonder if enough time has past for me to write a lucid enough review. Then again time is the whole problem with this book.
As a thriller, this book works really well for me. It has a driving pace and some good characters. This is the element of the book I liked best.

There were many places in the story where I had no idea what they were talking about. I will call them the science-y scenes. But honestly, I didn't even care. As long as I was still able to follow the story, which I was. I was completely glued to this book from beginning to end. I was not expecting this book to include such an epic love story. I was surprised but pleased. Just an all around great book with a great audio narration ❤️

Well that was quite the ride! It starts off by introducing Barry and Helena, two people in different years, who don’t seem to have any connection to each other. But they get dragged together as Helena unwittingly creates a powerful piece of technology that could destroy the world, and Barry sort of stumbles his way into helping her stop it.
