What Members Thought
I really enjoyed this book! The narrator, Angele Masters gets 5 stars as she did a fantastic job. The main protagonist, Veronica is very pragmatic and quite confident in herself. She's smart and a lepidopterologist (an expert on butterflies! I love learning new things when I read/listen to books). She's practical and independent. And a bit too perfect. If you enjoyed the Parasol Protectorate series (Soulless Soulless is the first book) by Gail Carriger, then you'll enjoy this book as well.

3-3.5 stars - Historical Mystery
4.5 stars - such an unexpected story! I thoroughly enjoyed the mystery, but even more, I liked the way the two main characters related to each other throughout their adventure.
I had a hard time getting into the first couple of chapters, but Veronica & Stoker quickly grew on me. I absolutely loved their chemistry and banter.
